Presenting
Tapestry of Shadows
October 10, 11 & 12
Allure of Pinecrest Grove Theatre
The Performing Arts Guild
Auditions of their fall performance of
Tapestry of Shadows
A theatrical tribute to Edgar Allen Poe.
Show dates are Friday, Saturday and Sunday, October 10-12 at the Allure of Pinecrest Grove Theatre.
Join PAG in bringing four of Edgar Allan Poe’s most haunting works to the stage—The Raven, The Black Cat, The Cask of Amontillado, and The Tell-Tale Heart—as part of the original theatrical production Tapestry of Shadows, directed and told by Morgan McConnell.
We are still in need of four more performers to complete our cast. If you’ve been considering getting back on stage or know someone who might be interested, now is the time!
A few things to know:
You will not be required to attend every rehearsal. Since the production is split into three distinct stories, we’ll break up rehearsals by story to keep your time commitment light.
Rehearsals will take place three evenings per week (likely Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays), but cast members will typically only be scheduled for two nights one week, then one night the following week, rotating to fit availability and story involvement.
This light rotation will continue into early September, after which we’ll begin piecing the full production together in a relaxed, easy-paced format.
Tapestry of Shadows is shaping up to be something really special a moody, theatrical journey through Poe’s world, with minimal sets, eerie sound design, and creative storytelling. I would truly love for you to come along with me on this adventure.
Time is running short; we only have a couple of weeks left in July to finalize casting. If you or someone you know might be interested, please reach out to me directly as soon as possible.
Let’s make something unforgettable.
Sincerely,
Morgan McConnell
